Alice stood in the middle of the clearing decked out in her baseball uniform. Well, it wasn't really a uniform. Just some baseball pants, a black hat that pushed down her spiky hair, and a jersey that had no team logo on it.
"Let play some ball.." She said quietly, knowing that the vampires around the clearing would hear her. She stood in the middle, waiting for some eager vampires to appear from the woods with a smile on their faces.

"Excellent." Alice said happily. She threw Cherry a bat. "Lets wait a while though for some more eager vampires.."

Leila was in town, the town where her cousins, the Cullen's lived. She didn't visit often enough and thought it would be a good idea. She was walking (or running, she supposed, but it felt like walking to her) to their house after hunting some stupid herbivores, and she saw Alice and Cherry. She saw Alice in uniform for what looked like baseball and Cherry with a bat in her hand. Baseball, She thought to herself. She wasn't the best at baseball, she was average. But great if you were looking at it from a human's point of view.
"Need another player?" Leila said excited to see her cousins, even if she didn't show it. With a crooked smile on her pale skin, her red hair blowing in the wind, she walked closer to greet them.

"Yes we do!" Alice said happily. "Wanna join?" She asked, a smile spreading across her face.

Ani had come with Leila to Forks to visit. She followed her into the clearing, shy, and stood along the edge, prepared to watch silently.

"Of course, my dear cousin. It is so nice to see you." Leila was in the perfect clothes for playing baseball; Her red hair was tied up, she was in pants that could pass for baseball pants, even though they were bright red, almost matching her hair. She was just in a plain white t-shirt, but that was okay. "Ani," She greeted her sister, not knowing she was back from hunting. "Would you like to play?" She knew she wouldn't. She looked like she was in a quiet mood.

Ani self-conciously shuffled her feet. "Yes," she answered, and picked up a bat thing (xD) and waiting awkwardly for them to tell her what to do.

Leila was surprised at her sister's answer. "Do you know how to play, Ani?" Leila giggled softly, looking at the expression on Ani's face when she picked up the bat.

Ani nodded. She was embarrassed around the Cullens. They scared her, a bit. Ani shuffled her feet again.

"I guess we need some more players, huh?" Leila sat on a log. She loved it in Forks. She loved seeing her cousins, she fit in with them so well. She had a bit more of an edge to her, though. Leila thought the Cullens must have intimidated Ani, because whenever they were all together she didn't always stay close. Or talk much, at least.
That's when Leila said under her breath so only vampires could hear her, "Vampire Baseball"

Ani sat down on the other side of the log and stared out at thye clearing, day-dreaming.

Leila picked up a metal bat and practiced swinging it while sitting on the log next to Ani. It wouldn't hit Ani, she thought. If it did, the only thing getting a dent in it would be the bat.

Ani didn't notice the bat, and looked up at the sky. Then she looked at the log, and started whispering things to it. "Hello," she whispered. She listened to what it had to say, and said "Yes" and "Mhm" occasionally, though still listening.
