"Lacey, no reason to be mad. We all knew this would happen someday. Something would break the covens apart. You saw it coming, and I'm surprised Alice didn't see it; maybe I'm traveling with a wolf or a hybrid when I go to Volterra. I don't know. Point is; you're not mad at me, or my decision, you're mad that I'm leaving you guys." Leila said. She wasn't scared anymore, because she knew what was happening. "Sure, I think drinking human blood is wrong. But we were made to drink human blood, not animal. I don't think we should stop people from doing what they've been doing for so long; 6,000 years. Once they adjusted, one of those crazy nomads would break and drink human blood, destroying the world's longest kept secret: Us. So try and stop me. But you're not going to." Leila said.
"And I will never drink human blood. Never. Not one day in my life, even if my life may not continue on for much longer," Leila said. She quietly walked out of the room, and headed to the guest room, which Leila rather called her room, since it kept all the things she needed and was decorated to her liking. She picked up all the things she needed, and conviently fit them into her bag, as she had learned to. Her laptop, 6 pairs of clothes (she would buy some in Volterra; she also had to make sure her clothing fit the Volturi's strict dress code), her iPhone, her iPod, lots of money, her wallet, and some novels. She hung a guitar across her back.
Before she said goodbye, she took out her phone. She got to her sister, Ashberry's, number and quickly texted:
ashb. before i jack a plane and go to volterra, i need to talk to you. somewhere where they can't hear or see. you're the only one i can trust. respond and delete this when you get it. oh&we'll have to bring clearwater. alice can't see us. <3 leila.
She made sure she wasn't thinking of the text at all, and went downstairs. She waved her hand. "Goodbye," she said plainly. She hopped out of the house, got in her NASCARR, and quickly made her way to the treaty line. Leila texted Sam; sam! i need you to come to the border line. now. we all have a choice to make, but i can tell you one thing; leah is coming with me. <3 leila.
****
Leila made her way to the treaty line, worried about what would happen. There were many things to worry about, but an endless list of what to hope for. She got out a journal she had gotten for Volterra. She wrote something on the purple cover:
VOLTERRA NOTES She wrote it big, and underneath she wrote Leila Hale in perfect script. She knew the first thing she had to do.Alice! I know you can probably see me writing everything I'm writing, but not right now since there are wolves around... But seriously. Snap out of this vision. Everyone deserves privacy. I love you, and don't give up on me, dear. <3leila
She flipped the page, and continued to write.things i should worry about: 1. What if my plan doesn't work? 2. What if the Volturi don't take me seriously. 3. What if I have lost Aro's trust, like the rest of the Cullens and he has to read my mind. 4. What if Char finds out? My best friend will hate me! 5. Should I tell Iris? 6. HELP ?!
After that, she decided the good things would come after she met the wolves. Sam had texted her back, and said they were on their way. Good. She knew they had to be, quickly. She had to be in Volterra by a certain amount of time, and by a certain hour. she needed to know if she had to jack a mini van.
Leila was worried; what if only Leah took her side? She knew one of her great friends, Jake, would betray her for his imprint, Lacey. Alexa would side with the Cullens; but Alexa was her best friend. She didn't know. She waited for her answers, and got out of the car.
{ooc: guys, you know some wolves do have to join the volturi and nomads, right?}

Lianna's head popped out from a bush. She was in her werewolf form. She had bright red fur and was very small for a werewolf. She nodded her head at Leila as if saying to stay there. Then, she ran back into the bush. A whooshing sound could be heard, and a minute later Lianna walked out in her human form, wearing a tank top and Capri's. "Hello," she said cautiously. "Do you need anything, umm..." She tried to think of the red head's name. She was still new, and was trying to get to know the local vampires. All she knew was Kairan and Austin because he had already thrown clay at her. "You look very troubled. Are you all right?"

"Wha do you need, Leech." Paul said, walking out just after Lianna had. He was wearing jeans, no shirt though. He hated carrying jeans in his mouth, denim was not a very good taste, and detested carrying extra supples like shirts. He'd bet that they wouldn't leave a good aftertaste either.

Lianna rolled her eyes. "She's not a leech," she said. "So what? She drinks blood. Well, we morph into giant creatures. Just as creepy." She smiled at Leila. "Hi, I'm Lianna Fralair. Nice to meet you."

Tala walked out in wolf form as well. He didn't say anything, just watched curiously. He had the same attitude as Paul, though, and wasn't happy about the "leech" being there.

"Lianna, oh naive Lianna. Wake up and smell the bloodsucker." Paul replied in a muffled tone. He was ripping a strip of cloth from a rag, which he had stashed in a bush, with his teeth. Then he wrapped it around the deep gash on his wrist that was bleeding crazily. He and Embry had a sparing match before, and Embry managed to sink a claw and possibly a tooth into his arm. Paul knew he wouldn't have to keep the rag there for long, it would heal soon enough. Once that was finished and there wasn't anything in his mouth but gum he started to talk. "We are wolves, they are leeches. Leeches and wolves don't get along, and it's our civic duty to annihilate them."

Lianna frowned. "Naive?" She asked, crossing her arms. "I wouldn't be talking. You're the one who got your butt kicked by Embry." She stuck her tounge out and turned away. "I may be new here, but I don't get the whole treaty thing. We are all the same. Vampires and werewolves. We're just trying to find out way in this difficult life that was handed to us." She started at the sky thoughtfully, then turned around to face Leila. "Hey, why are you here anyways? isn't it dangerous? To be so close to the so called 'treaty line'?"

Tala chuckled at what Paul said, as he agreed 100%. He stood there motionless, as a small, light brown wolf, though he was not as small as Lianna. He then turned his attention towards Paul's wrist. "When is he gonna learn.." he thought to himself.

Leila laughed as she watched them bicker. Hi, Lianna! She said, a bit happier. But she soon remembered why she was there and became sad again. I'm Leila... Leila Gracelynn Hale. She said, her tone glum. "You look very troubled. Are you all right?" Lianna asked. Leila looked at her, and let her head fall again. She sighed, and held her head up. No, Lianna. No, I'm not okay. I need your help. They need your help as well, she pointed back to the Cullen's house.
Paul, Leila said in a flat tone, annoyed. Tala. She hated them. Leila hated how they were always so ticked off all the time. "She's not a leech," she said. "So what? She drinks blood. Well, we morph into giant creatures. Just as creepy." Lianna said with confidence. Leila smiled at the young girl. She laughed, and Paul came back with a nasty remark. "Oh, Lianna. Naïve Lianna," Paul chuckled. "We are wolves, they are leeches. Leeches and bloodsuckers don't get along, and it's our civic duty to annihilate them." He said. Hey, look, Lianna. I mean, I don't like feeling that way, but he's right. But you and me, Lianna, we can still be friends. We're cool. Leila smiled.
But really. I've split from the Cullens. I'm going to the Volturi. We're in full out war. I don't know whose idea this stupid war was, but everyone needs to choose a side. The Volturi and Nomads, or the Cullens and Denalis. Leila said. And I need you to choose. Leila told them.
Now.

Tala didn't respond. He didn't want to choose a side, nor did he want anything to do with vampires. What side's stronger? What exactly does each side want? Who would he be with and without due to which side he chose? He couldn't ignore the questions buzzing in his head.

(OOC: Oopsies, I made a typo. I meant to put 'Leeches and wolves don't get along' not 'Leeches and bloodsuckers'.)
Paul hated leeches, despised them. He wished them the worst, but would tolerate certain of them for a limited amount of time. He wanted nothing more to do in the war but slay some vampires, which he so desperatly desired. Things were... slow at the reserve. Or atleast slow for him. Paul wanted to save his hide also, slay vampires and live to see the next morning. Cullens were not his favorite, neither were the Denali people. They were... not as strong, in his opinion. The Volturi and Nomads were strong. They had guts. And that, by far, was a good thing in Paul's point of view. Boldness was definatly a redeemable characteristic for him. He could probably put up with the royalty and loners. After a couple more minutes of thought, he replied, "As much as I hate to say this... I'll go with you. I'd like to live instead of go down all 'noble'." Paul shrugged. "Anything for a good fight, right?"

Lianna tried to take in what Leila had said. A war? Not good. She sat down in the moist grass, and started at the sky for a long minute. "Who..." She began. "Who are the Volturi?"
Everyone felt like smacking her in the head when saying that.
"But... You are the only nice person so far. I'd rather be with you then mean vampires who throw clay at people." Little did she know, Austin was also on Leila's side. xDD

Paul hit his forehead with his hand. "Oi... We have a lot to teach you..." He muttered. "Okay, Volturi 101. They're some royalty who I hate, but if I make it out alive it'll be all worth it. They enfoce stinky 'rules'. And that clay throwing nitwit is on the parasite's side."

"Ohhh..." Lianna mused. "And... WHAT? But that guy, the blondie? He's EVIL!" Lianna shouted.
Austin heard her shout "HE'S EVIL" all the way from the Nomad Hideout. "Sheesh, thanks a lot," Austin said, tossing some clay up in the air.

Alexa showed up finally, due to Sam's orders, in human form. She didn't approve, but she had to follow orders anyway. She spent a lot of time in her room thinking, and she realized she had not clue what she was doing. (See Alexa's Room: Thinking...on the rez) Due to the lack of proper thought, she didn't wear her usual fun, bright clothing. She even broke her cardinal rule of no clothing without accessories. She wore a simple tiny black dress and her heart necklace with her last resort diamond studs and flip flops.
She already knew what was going on, and she didn't like it one bit. She wasn't going to be too happy for this talk.
(ooc: sorry if my describing clothing is annoying, Alexa puts a big part of her life on clothing and her clothes describe what shes feeling. Colors are always happy for her)
