(Jacob's POV)
It had been a year since i'd seen Bella, she'd gone and left me, having her baby in Alaska.. where Edward wanted to move apparently.
I suspect that she'd also been turned while she was out there.
It pissed me off to think that the last thing i said to her was nothing more than a lie. "I'm over you.."
I was probably never going to see her again and there was nothing, i could do about it whatsoever. Even if she did come back, she'd probably kill me.. iv'e heard New borns remain New borns for up to four years, she'd want to drink my blood.
I shudder at the thought of it.
I can't believe i didn't try harder, it's too late now.. she probably hates me for not trying harder too. I should have done what i could to win her heart, but what was the point? like she said two years ago, "Don't make me choose Jake, It was him.. it was always him" yes, of course, it'd always be the Bloodsucker.
Should have seen it coming really, how could i have been so stupid? she was always going to love Edward, i was ..'too young' 'too stubborn' and only 'best friend material' it sickens me now i think about it, we kissed.. twice, and she never even meant a single one of them.. she was just ..acting.. for her own selfish reasons.

I stare at the photo of Bella on my bedside table, she was so beautiful, so pure. Not anymore. I shift my lazy ass off of my bed and into the living room, Billy's snoring his head off in his wheel chair. Poor guy, no one bothered to move him last night.
I look out of the window, a scent of must and grass sweeping through the open crack, Embry, Paul, Jared and Sam are waiting for me outside, so i slip out of the door and run over to them.
"Why are you guys always shirtless?" I ask them, raising my eyebrows. I know it's hot outside and our temperature never lowers but still, it's nice to have some dignity once in a while. "Doesn't it make us look manly?" Paul asks me, glancing at all of the guys, a smirk across his face. Sometimes i'd like to slap the smirks right off of him. Urgh.
"Why would it make you look manly?,.. come on Paul, even wrestlers wear shirts" I tell them, a smirk spreading across my own face now.
Paul growls at me and folds his arms. "Dude, don't be such a smartass.. we don't need your sass " He tells me, i shake my head at him. "Sass?.. what do you think i am.. a diva?" i ask him, thinking that this is gonna turn into a hardcore wolf, one-to-one wrestling match any second.
"Haha" Laughs Jared, i turned my face straight at him giving him daggers with my eyes. "Okay dude..calm down..calm down" He says, instantly shrinking down to size and looking away. "How the heck am i supposed to calm down?.. i asked a question.. and you turned it into a freaking argument.. i mean, what the heck?" I ask them, turning away from them immediately. "Wait, Jacob i'm sorry!" Said Paul, followed by a bunch of different laughters. My eyebrows turn inwards as i clench my fists and walk straight back to the house. Jerks.. the lot of them.

(Bella's POV)
I have many regrets, one of them being choosing Edward over Jacob, Edward had hurt me, i had hurt Jacob. Was there a chain going on back in forks? Everyone seems to hurt each other and me being one of those people.
I didn't miss Edward, i just couldn't anymore. Since Renesme was born, Edward has started acting strange around me. He completly ignored me, acted as if i wasn't even there, and then one day i came home and he was no where in site, neither was Renesme.
I searched high and low for them but no sign of them. Later, i got a call from Carlisle saying that they'd found Renesme ..alone in the woods. I didn't think anything could have happened to Edward because Victoria, Laurent and James were all dead.. the Volturi hadn't visited again had they? i rushed over to the Cullens' house and took Nessie into my arms, crying into her shoulder.. "Everything's gonna be alright sweetie, Daddy will be home soon" i'd ruined it then, because she whispered into my ear as i was holding her. "Daddy won't be home soon, Daddy's gone.. he's with Levi" As soon as i got around the words she was saying my heart sunk, Levi was Nessie's pet hamster.. but one day, when she was thirsty she went out of control and .. well.. Levi was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
So Edward was dead? my husband was..gone? no.. no this can't have happened, he promised me he'd be okay, the last time i spoke to him, he said everything would be alright, that there was nothing to worry about. Was he hiding something from me?.. Yes, in fact he was. Carlisle told me that the Volturi had visited.. like i expected and.. they were looking for Edward, he obviously knew they were coming.. Alice had told him.
They believed that Nessie was an Immortal child, therefore she must die.
I lost my Edward to Aro Volturi. All because of one stupid lie.

Charlie hadn't seen me in some time now so i thought it'd be best to go visit him now that i'd been weened onto Animal Blood. My new car made a big difference, i still miss my old truck.. a lot. Soon i'm standing outside my old house with suitcases in each hand, knocking on the door.
The look on his face when he opens it is astonishing, "Bella!..my Baby Bella!" He screams, pulling me into him so tight. He soon releases me when it gets uncomfortable. "Bella, Doll.. why are you so .. hard?" he asks me. I laugh at him and walk inside. "Long story.. lets make it short.. iv'e been living in Alaska..and it's super cold.. " He gave me an Odd look before sitting down on the couch that i'd also missed. I sit down next to him. "Dad.. " He looks up at me with a grin. "Yes?" I smile at him. "I missed you.." I tell him, this being very true. "I missed you too darling'" he exclaims, pulling me into another tight hug. "Dad... ease with the hugs.. your just as bad as Ja-" i cut off, Jacob suddenly hitting me hard in the chest. "Is.. Jake still around at all?" I ask him, suddenly changing the subject and he can see it. "Yeah.. " he sighs. "What?" i ask him. "It's just.. i haven't seen you in two years and all you can think about is Jake? what about Edward?..how is he?" Even Charlie can't keep the hurting away, he just had to bring that subject up. "Dad.. i..i came here for a reason.." i sigh and he looks at me concerned. "What is it Bella?" "It's about Edward.. something bad happened back in Alaska and.. well.. it's a very long story.." He takes my hand and holds it tight before flinching. "Honey why are you so cold? surely you must have warmed up along the journey?" "Dad.. that's not the point!" I say, getting up and walking towards the door. "I gotta go see Jake.. i'll be back to tell you about it.. alright.. see you Charlie.."
I go to my car, all the while he's staring at me through the window completely gob smacked. I get in my car and i drive down to La Push. Jake's sitting outside like he's waiting for me, although he looks pretty pissed. He looks up at the unfamiliar car and jumps up, my windows are tinted so you can hardly see through them from the outside. I slowly open the door, heart racing and stomach queasy. As soon as he sees me his face is speechless, he runs over to me almost yanking me out of the car. "Bella.. wh..what the heck are you doing here?" He exclaims, trying not to touch me too much but ends up pulling me into a huge rib crushing hug.
"Iv'e been around.. but anyway.. look Jake, theres something iv'e gotta tell you" He pulls out and looks at me. "If it's about us wolves killing you then the answer is no.. i won't let them touch you.. okay.. " I shake my head. "I know you won't, but it's not about that.. it's about... Edward" his smile drops as it turns into a glum looking frown. "Jake.. ..Ed..Edwards gone!" I say, my voice breaking as i get the words out, i feel a few tears slide across my face.
"What do you mean?" he asks. I nod at him, "Gone..as in dead.. " i whisper. He looks at me for a few seconds, before pulling me into another huge hug. "You'll get through this i promise.. and.. i..i'm sorry.." I pull him in closer. "You don't have to be sorry Jake, i'm the one who's sorry..i'm the one who never gave you a chance, you were right.. i should have chosen you..not him.. " He brushes the back of my head with his hand, gently stroking my hair. "It's alright, Bella Que Quowle.. Nayeli .." He whispers in my ear before cupping my face in his hands, and kissing me softly.
