Iris was pushing her car single handedly up a steep incline, the force of gravity not working with her. Her car was fairly heavy, it was armed to survive a missle attack. That feature weared off though, Iris had beaten and hit her car soo many times its durability was in the trash heap. It didn't have seat belts, airbags, or those little handles in the car that you held onto for extra support. It was a beaten down, metal death trap. She loved having a broken old car with a percentage of zero safety. It didn't meet any safety standards, and she liked it that way. She was sad to see her tank-like care all motor-dead without any battery power. Well, you see it wasn't as bad as it was then. Iris TRIED to fix it herself, but just made it worse. She got aggrivated and started hitting it with a crow bar after five minutes of electricuting herself with wires. As usual, Iris didn't have the guts to admit that she needed help with her car. She wouldn't tell Rosalie even though Rose rocked at fixing cars, she thought not being able to do something about a problem was a weakness. To Iris, admitting you couldn't do something was even worse than not being able because it was actually showing a sign of weakness. Iris shoved her car one last time, it speeded forward up the street and towards Dowlings. She shoved the car over into a parking spot and leaned into the window. She shifted the gear into park then walked inside the building. Iris went to the front desk and ringed the small bell on the counter rapidly, ignoring the glares of other customers. "Yo! Is anyone here!? I need some service for my car ASAP!" Iris screamed, hoping a worker would hear her.

Lyric was doing the usual, sipping a cup of mountain lion blood while reading a book she had read at least fifty times. Her hair was up in a high pony-tail, put through the hole in her faded red cap. It said Dowling's on it, though that was the only piece of uniform Lyric wore. Otherwise, she had on light blue skinny jeans with holes at the knees, and a black and white striped t-shirt with a heart on it. When someone finally came to the over-expensive place, only perhaps the third customer that day, and Lyric was used to more. She set down her book, marked her page with a blue bookmark, and got up. The girl yelled, "Yo! Is anyone here!? I need some service for my car ASAP!"
Lyric did the usual, it was like a script. "Hello, I'm Lyric, welcome to Dowling's. We help with all car trouble--" she began in monotone. She looked up, to see the girl had bright pink hair. "Iris?" She asked, confused. "What do you need with your car?" Lyric asked, still a bit confused. Iris seemed like one who knew how to fix a car.

"Well let me start from the beginning. I was driving down by La Push, exactly where I shouldn't have been, and I accidentally drove into the ocean. Then when I yanked my car out I jumped in and pressed the gas pedel in hopes of running over Paul while he was trying to chase me away. THEN the car didn't work and I had to jump out and push the car while I was running and I hated every minute of it. THEN when I got home, or atleast the Cullen's house, I shoved it into the garage. I tried to fix it but got annoyed after what felt like five hours but was really five minutes and started to beat my tank-like car with a crowbar. So I "borrowed" a huge stack of cash from Alice and dragged my car all the way here. So basicly, I need you to do what car fixers or whatever so and FIX MY CAR!" Iris explained everything that happened that day, she sounded exausted.

"Were you in La Push, or near La Push?" Lyric asked, confused. She turned her head. "Nevermind. Let me go and look at your car," she said. As she went outside, she saw a piece of junk. "Oh my God, Iris. That thing is like a freaking piece of scrap metal. It looks like crap." Lyric said, gasping. She crawled under it, looking at all the parts. "Iris, it's gonna take me like a while to fix this. A bunch of parts somehow got some water in them, I'll have to replace some stuff... Usually, it takes me like a couple of days, living for three centuries and all--But give me a week, at the most. I'll have it to you in at the most a week, but probably like four days," Lyric nodded.

"Does it REALLY matter if I was driving in or around La Push?" Iris said, crossing her arms across her chest. "Yeah, I know... Thanks. How much do you guys charge for something like this? I was thinking of just buying a new car but this one's been with me forever." Iris searched her bag for the wad of cash she had sneaked out. The Cullens wouldn't care if she snatched it, for all she knew they were filthy rich.
Raelene was picking up her canary yellow Volkswagon Beetle from Dowlings. She was looking at her pretty little car as she peered into the garage.
"Here." Lacey said as she tossed Raelene the keys.
"Lace? What the heck are you doing here at....work?" Iris asked suprised, Lacey was always one to miss work.
"Apparently I have to show up atleast three times a week or my job gets thrown to some other person." Lacey said, frowning.
"Ohhh..." That was all Iris had to say.

"Uhm, well, you know, Iris, we're a very overpriced place," Lyric started. "But you're like family to me, so I'm gonna charge less... Still a lot, but I'm sure it'll be coming out of our pockets anyways," Lyric laughed. She knew Iris, and how she stole cash from the Cullens all the time. "I'll let you know the price when I'm finished---Hey, don't you have auto-insurance or something? Because I don't, but I think you should get it for something like this..." She trailed off. Lyric's car was stunning. It was a 2009 Ford Focus RS. It was in the shape of Edward's silver volvo, but her car was faster and electric blue. Her car was parked out back, but you could still see it; the back was the side of Dowling's. Usually, Lyric, being a car person, had gotten newer models, and then once in a while she'd get a classic. Sure, they were already releasing 2011 cars, but Lyric liked her car. Wasn't very old, anyways.
