- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - CAN WE PRETEND THAT AIRPLANES IN THE NIGHT SKY ARE LIKE SHOOTING STARS CAUSE I COULD REALLY USE A WISH RIGHT NOW - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Lillian curled up on the couch, next to the fireplace. She had no reason to be doing what she was doing, she was just completely and utterly bored. What would be nice to her now, would be the only thing that would keep her entertained at home. Reading. Lilly pulled out a book, and began reading. Oddly enough it was The Great Gatsby Something she'd never be seen reading unless she was bored "OH EM GEE! OH EM GEE! OH EM GEE! DOES THIS MEAN? NO!!! How could she?" Was all that was going through Lilly's head. She was thinking about the relationship between Gatsby, and that other chick she couldn't remember the name of currently. After continuing to read Lillian got tired, of reading. She layed back against th couch, for no reason what so ever. If she couldn't dream, she could still daydream Right? She guessed so. She sat up and began to be lost in a daydream. This really wasn't like Lillian, to be sucked in like this. What she was daydreaming about was if her life would be any different if she was the lead role in the play,or the lead in a Broadway musical,or even better the star in a movie. She would be famous. Little kids would look up to her,and be begging for her autograph. Life would be epic. After a while, Lillian escaped back to reality. She sighed. Her life wouldn't be any different if she was a human. If she was there wouldn't be a likelyhood she would get the lead in anything and she knew that. It was just one of those moments when Lillian spazzed. It never really happened. But,everyone had those moments where you thought about your life and how it would be different. Lillian was no different than anyone else. After a while Lillian heard someone approach. She jumped up,and smiled. "HEYO!"[/color] She screamed with excitement. She was happy someone had walked into the living room, and Lillian was about to get into an engaging conversation. "This would be your character speaking.""This would be your thoughts.""This would be someone else talking."- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - STATUS:Uhm. Bored and Tired. Because I'm only as tall as my heart will let me be,and I'm only as small as the world can make me seem. Lacey had been in her room, flipping through the TV channels absentmindedly. There wasn't anything that good on, nothing that caught her eye. She wasn't picky, that I could guarantee you, but there were things that she was interested in and things that bored her to tears. Things related to school were quite boring, and also things like press conferences. All they did was state the obvious and tell the people what they wanted to hear.
She stopped switching the channels after going through all of them twice. She had a cable box, so she had hundreds and hundreds of channels. Anyway, she had stopped at 23. Billy the Exterminator was on, and Lacey absolutely adored that show, but she noticed that it was a rerun. She detested reruns.
Eventually she turned off the TV out of boredom. She just sat on the couch, rubbing the leather a little. She had missed her room, seeing as she had taken a couple weeks of vacay in Denali. She had visited the coven up there, and secretly she had cheated on her vegatarian vampire diet. She would tell no one, and that was for sure.
When she had been left alone, she felt like the walls of her spacious room had been closing in on her. Claustrophobia had set in as Lacey recalled her last dream. She had no idea what was in the dream, but that was the scary part. She just remembered a blinding light, and then Alice had woken her up and told her that she had been shrieking repeatedly.
A shiver ran through her spine as she winced, remembering the eerie property of her memories. She could remember the smallest things of her dream adn then recall small portions, but never enough to complete the puzzle.
She screamed when something had pounced at her from behind. It was Raelene's cat. That thing scared the snot out of Lacey, but then another bad memory came back. She supposed that it wasn't a bad memory, more of how it had ended.
Raelene... Her sister. Raelene was brutally killed by nomads, none of which had names. They couldn't track the murderers, and it sickened Lacey to her bones that those... those things were still loose in the world.
And that cat, that cat was one of the only things that Lacey remembered her by. Raelene had always said that when she had died, that Lacey were to take care of her cat. They didn't clean out Raelene's room, which was in Denali, but Lacey couldn't do it. It hurt to much. She didn't go to where the Denali coven had lived when she had visited. She insisted on roughing it in the woods.
She picked up the black cat and set it on her lap. She carresed the cat's ears and for once, Trouble had let Lacey pet her. Maybe this wasn't a demon cat after all. Maybe Raelene had gotten it for a reason.
Lacey dragged her butt off of the couch and descended down the hallway and crawled down the stairs. She had a blanket wrapped around her shoulders and her PJ's were stuffed in ug boots.
When she had walked down the last flight of stairs, Lacey had seen a girl. She looked a lot like Bella. She hadn't seen this girl before, but she did smell of vampire. Did they have a new adition to the coven? Was Lacey gone that long? Possibly.
"HEYO!" The unknown brunette had greeted.
Lacey was frozen for a little, but never the less did she manage to nod and utter a small hi. Her voice sounded hoarse, so she had to clear her throat a little after. She didn't speak a whole lot that week. No one really spoke to her, so it was new to have someone greet her without being greeted first.
Lacey trudged over to the kitchen, grabbed a pouch of left over animal blood, and then walked back to the couch. The blood tasted aweful, and she missed human blood. She missed how sweet and thirst quenching it was.
She sat on the couch, took on huge gulp of blood, and then snatched the TV remote up in a blink of an eye.
"I'm Lacey, and your name is...?" she said, not making eye contact.
