Lacey had been sitting at The Monster Shack, feeling compelled to visit once more. She had finally sucked it up and gotten the courage to come back. She had been avoiding certain things in her life that reminded her about her siblings. Iris was gone, off to pursue greater things than humble old Forks. Perhaps she had taken the Volturi's offer. Raelene was... She was gone, and that was all that was.
She had sat at the counter and the waitress, Bonny, had greeted her. "Good morning, hon." she had greeted, Lacey had smiled. She was always much too kind for her. Lace had frowned at the beginning of the next sentence. "I'm sorry about Rae... What do you want? It's on the house."
"Nothing, I just wanted to visit this place again..." Lacey muttered as someone slipped into the seat next to her. She gave the person a fleeting glance but turned back to the comics in the newspaper quickly.

Leila's red hair flashed past the door. Staying with the Cullens still was rough, but Denali was harder. Raelene, her dear friend. What was Leila supposed to do, forget about it all? Iris was off to pursue her dreams, bigger things than the small town. She wasn't ready to face the ghost of Rae, not yet. Leila didn't need to run after Iris, even though eventually they all knew she would. They were best friends, partners in crime. Leila wasn't supposed to forget about the two girls, but sometimes it seemed better that way. But she couldn't be with the Denali Clan, not with how things looked now. It was horrible.
She headed over to the Monster Shack, of all places. Rae used to work there, which didn't help any. She parked her motorbike, bikes that were often used in France which she had taken the pleasure of visiting once again with Carlisle and Rosalie sometime ago, where she had fallen in love with them. Leila went into the Shack, sad as ever. There was the long-haired girl sitting at a table. Automatically she was recognized, but how could she not? Lacey was one of Leila's best friends, after all. The red-head headed over to Lacey, smiling.
Hey Lace, Leila said. She wondered how Lacey felt visiting the Monster Shack, the place where Raelene once rollerskated around.

Lacey had been reading the comics, but she couldn't laugh. Nothing could really make her laugh at that time, not even a call from her favorite person in the world... Jake. Usually she would giggle at his special ringtone, the one that he had recorded himself, and then answer. As much as she loved him, today she wouldn't do that. Lacey would just call him back later.
When Bonny had come back near her part of the restaraunt, Lacey had said, "I changed my mind... May I get a cup of coffee? Just make it black..."
In a couple of minutes she had gotten her coffee. Usually she would douse it with milk, sugar, and creamer to the point where it bearly tasted like coffee. Lacey didn't have a taste for anything creamy... or sweet. Unless that sweet taste was human blood, then she was in the mood for something bitter. It was getting harder and harder to resist human blood, but no one should've known. She had wore golden contacts, so that would've hid the most prominate feature of a non-vegetarian diet.
"Hey Lacey" A familiar voice had said. Leila, obviously. Lacey had seen her red hair out of the corner of her eye.
"Hi..." Lacey sighed, taking another swig of her coffee. "What brings you here?"
